Do you often travel, regularly visit new cities and wish you had someone to chat with or to catch an exciting event?
HereToMeet aims to give you a safe, easy and fun way to meet others while traveling. Whether you are available to meet up, traveling to specific location, or creating and attending worldwide events, HereToMeet knows it is important to stay entertained while away from home.
In just a few simple steps, our FREE app offers a more exciting traveling experience.
What HereToMeet offers:
Home:
Displays member travel locations, events they have created, and events they are joining worldwide. Click on a profile picture to view and message members safely and privately. To find out information on upcoming events, simply click and view detail,join event, and post messages about the event on the public message board.
Easily Post where you are traveling to, where you are available to meet, or show you are currently unavailable.
Search:
Once a worldwide location is entered, HereToMeet will display 3 categories:
1- Host: displays members that are available at your location.
2- Travelers: displays which members will be traveling to your location.
3- Events: our Events category will show you upcoming event that members are hosting and posted. Dont see any members events? No need to worry because we also display events using EventBrite, allowing you to see public upcoming events at your destination.
Once you find a Host or Traveler, simply click on the profile or event and begin to interact with other members.
Messages:
This is your message history. It will display all personal and group messages.
We know you value your privacy so HereToMeet offers a safe, friendly way to interact with members. By offering private messaging, you can connect with members without giving away your personal information.
We also offer group messaging, allowing members to meet ahead of time and discuss event detail. By clicking the @ symbol, You can also add Facebook friends to the conversation.
If you want to message privately with a member in the group chat, simply click on the profile picture. This will exit group chat and display the members profile. From here, you can them message privately.
Profile:
On the profile page, many functions are offered:
1-edit profile picture, username, and edit bio.
2-displays all of your posts you have created including traveling to, available location, and events you have created or joined.
3-create an event: simply give your event a name, list the worldwide location, exact place of event, and time/date.
By giving the exact location, members can view the address and open in Maps, to copy address and get direction.
4- access all setting, such as push notification, and "Share HereTo Meet"

For all of the traveling I do, this app allows many of my friends, clients and work associates access to what events I have lined up and where I am in the country. Im looking forward to the later versions!

What an easy app to use... I can find things to do in my own town I didnt even know existed. While searching for something else, I discovered that the university offered 3D printing classes that my son can take! Its a great tool for weekend traveling too... Keeps my events organized. I love the map feature too... Especially since Im always getting lost. Great place to meet some new people while directing me towards fun things to do.
